WHY DO WE NEED TO CHANGE?
Traditional methods of PMS Integrations are broken. They can take months, or even years, and disrupt the pace of innovation. Getting basic data from the PMS should take days. This is why HTNG Express was created.
WHAT IS HTNG EXPRESS?
A lightweight API standard that simplifies the process of integrating with a PMS. We agreed on a common set of fields and their definitions between all PMS systems. Development time is under a week, most do it in under a day.
BUILT FOR POST BOOKING
Booking requires a pretty deep integration with the PMS, but post booking, we simply need access to basic info about a Reservation, Guest, Room or Folio. We focused on use cases that happen post-booking, built around operationally centric products that are relevant once a booking is made. From pre-checkin to check-out.
Founded in 2019
In the fall of 2019, a group of technology leaders gathered to talk about how our industry could accelerate. We brought together Vendors, PMS Providers, Hotels, and Consultants to solve one of the industry's toughest problems. The result became the HTNG Express standard.
